Care to Clear the Air

Poor air quality not only affects the beauty of our state, but can also adversely impact one’s health. I invite you to join the “Care to Clear the Air” campaign during the month of January 2011. Set a goal to reduce driving by using Travel Wise strategies, such as carpooling, teleworking or public transportation, and consider making similar goals throughout the year.

At the end of January, when the campaign concludes, we will be assessing the results of state employee efforts. I encourage all departments and employees to work together to travel wisely and find other ways to reduce emissions in January. Thank you in advance for your dedication to this campaign.
